Meet Elton McMillan

I have personally known Elton for 20+ years. I knew his wife before they were marriedElton and I served on church staff together for little over six years, a total of 10+ years of ministry together at that church.Elton personally invited me and invested in me to go on a men's event called The Quest in 2017 Elton and I have logged thousands of hours together doing ministry and life as brothers in Christ together. One of the amazing gifts that Elton possesses, and let me assure you the list is quite long, capturing the gifts that Elton has. But the one that I feel he has the corner on the market is.

I love working with Elton, his model is something I wish to embody. In his approach to teaching anything, he really takes his time to get to know who he is teaching and then makes the content relatable. So what could've been a simple pep talk (that most would roll their eyes to) becomes a palatable life lesson. His ability to pour into those he works with really shows a character that communicates that he doesn't do what he does for selfish gain but for the highest good of those he works with.

I was invited to a nice, formal event—a very important event, an event that I thought I could never be in or be a part of, or even get invited to. It was a very exclusive event, and I knew a lot of important people were going to be there. Before I entered, I began to pray, and I thanked GOD for the opportunity and asked God, “Please lead me with open mind, heart, and confidence.” I asked GOD to please speak to me—I was pretty lost in life and needed direction!!As I approached the scene with my beautiful wife Katherine, the first person GOD led me to was Elton. I don’t know how, but somehow we locked eye contact, introduced ourselves, and opened up to each other as if we were destined (it was GOD). We happened to know some of the same people, so we exchanged information right then and there! At the moment, I did not know Elton was hosting the event. When I seen him on stage, I felt even more thrilled—it was as if I met the main celebrity of the show! Since the day GOD sent Elton Jr. into my life, I have had a better view and understanding in life, business, and my faith in Christ!
